PromptShot (“we”, “us”) operates https://promptshot.us, a free tool that turns a product photo or description into UGC-style video prompts. This policy explains what data we handle and how.
Product photos and descriptions
Photos you upload and descriptions you type are used for one purpose: generating your prompts. Photos are analyzed in memory, sent once to our AI provider (Google Gemini) for that single generation, and discarded. They are never written to our media library, database, or backups, and are never used to train models or for any other purpose.
Email addresses
You never need an account or email to use the free daily generations. If you choose to enter your email to unlock bonus generations, we store that address with the date and source. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link that immediately deletes your address from our database. You can also request removal any time via the contact form or hello@promptshot.us.
Usage limits
To enforce the free daily generation limit we keep a lightweight counter tied to your browser/visitor session. This is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Contact form
If you contact us, we receive the name, email, and message you submit, and use them only to reply.
Third-party services
We use Google Gemini (to analyze your product input and write prompts) and Google Fonts (to display this site’s typefaces). Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) for security and performance. The site contains clearly-labeled affiliate links and may show ads; we never sell or share your personal data with advertisers.
Cookies
We use only functional cookies/storage: your theme preference (light/dark) and the daily generation counter. No third-party tracking cookies are set by us.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you (in practice: your email address and any contact messages). Write to hello@promptshot.us and we will action it promptly.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date.
